Reservations accepted for women's forum
GreaterFindlayInc.'s Women's Leadership Forum will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Findlay Country Club, 1500 Country Club Drive.

The forum is open to all men and women business professionals looking for opportunities to advance their career.

Presented by Time Warner Cable Business Class in partnership with GreaterFindlayInc., the forum was created to provide business leadership development, education and mentorship opportunities for professional women.

The keynote speaker will be Linda DeArment, chief development office of the Blanchard Valley Hospital Foundation, who will present "Transitions -- Celebrating, Enjoying, Strategizing for Your Personal and Professional Advancement."

DeArment has been a nurse, full-time mother, leadership program director and organizational development consultant. She has also maintained an active service life.

Doors open at 11 a.m. with registration, networking and exhibitors beginning at 11:15 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the presentation from noon to 1 p.m.

Advanced registration is required by Monday. Cost to attend is $20 for GFI members and $25 for nonmembers. Exhibitor spaces are also still available. For more information or to register, call 419-422-3313 or visit

Bev Roby, director of music at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, plays the organ at the church. Roby is part of the Findlay Area Music Ministers Association, an organization in which people involved in music ministry in many different denominations offer each other support and share ideas for how to best use music in worship.
