“ Why doesnt' the city of Findlay come out and tell the truth
The fema flood insurance agency has discovered that the hunters creek subdivision
Does not ,,,nor will ever protect against flooding,,, . And requesting that homes in the hunters creek subdivision
Be required to carry flood insurance,
This has be known for years that the developers' where side stepping
The core rules misrepresenting the facts in sake of profits.
The professionals whom stamped these plans and sold these lots are in facts crooks,,, I wish the good people of hunters no ill will ,
But heavy south east rain like we had in 2007 is likely and chance of very high water to come through that subdivision is good.
The risk of damage and loss of life may be greater,
The city may pass this of as we are in negations with fema and will use politico means to fight this matter,,, is wrong , theses people are at risk.
And the city has a good chance of losing this battle
Why you would try to cover up this matter when you know what's at stake.
Thats just one more wrong move after next .while all the rest suffer
With even higher cost of flood insurance with out the community .rating system C.R.S flood insurance discount they so badly need because of this matter .
Favors for some. taxes for the rest ,

Opening Riverbend Pool
“ The reason we don't go to the pool early in the season is because the water is too cold. I recall that a few years ago the opening was delayed because the water was too cold. Could some enterprising person at the YMCA (?) call upon local companies with big boilers to donate hot water and another to donate the use of a tank truck to haul the water to the pool? ”

spending for the CUBE
“ Ok, who remembers opening the pool last year? It appears that was not the smartest move.. ( the YMCA is wanting the city to put $50,000 or so in maintaining the pool for a HOPEFUL better season. Conditions at the CUBE are much more manageable, and seems to have high turn out... It makes more sense to keep something going that benefits MULTIPLE groups and the PUBLIC for a much longer period of time. And the public skates show that there is evidently a desire for this service.... ”

“ First of all the new equiptment for the cube is badly needed, the exsisting equiptment is old and makes the co level too high. We can't appropriate funds for flood control untill we have the plans and the cost. And yes Mr. Shuck needs to resign, not only for how he treated the speaked but for sleeping during meetings and grunting and making noises that no one should make in public. ”

Cemetery Lawn Maintenance Services
“ So the Service Director will be advertising for lawn service bids at Maple Grove cemetery, this is a sham! There is no way that the cemetery will receive the same quality of maintenance and care that it now receives for a cheaper cost. I personally know the man that is responsible for the cemetery maintenance, and he does a fantastic job, especially considering that he is the only full time cemetery employee! Like I said, there is no way you can outsource this task and receive the proper care and concern that a long time cemetery employee can provide, this is just another example of throwing away more money! ”

“ I was at the city council meeting when the city handed out. a city resolution to the coach of Findlay collage.. and the young man from the Findlay high school,'
I dont really agree with city time and money spent on this type thing but ..ok
Then when the young lady got up to make comments for her [4mins] and at the end of her statement she gained applause from the crowd not unlike was give to the too previous gentlemen
And the group was reprimanded by Mr. shuck this was in very poor taste and along with other comments show his ever lasting child like behavior. This man has no reason for this ..other. Then his inability to control his behavior Mr. shuck please resign.
