From the public records of Hancock County Common Pleas Court:

Andrew R. Sanderson, 23, of Wayne, pleaded guilty Thursday to burglary, a third-degree felony. He will be sentenced by Judge Joseph Niemeyer when a presentence investigation is completed. In April he trespassed at a Madison Avenue residence using force. This was the residence of an ex-girlfriend and he was not supposed to be there because of a civil protection order, according to the indictment. He was originally charged with a second-degree felony, but accepted a plea deal lessening the charge.

Richard J. Hixson, 21, of Findlay, was sentenced Thursday to five years of community control sanctions by Niemeyer after Hixson pleaded guilty in December to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony. On July 13, Hixson had sexual contact with a 14-year-old in Liberty Township. Hixson will serve 11 months in prison if he violates his community control. Hixson was also labeled as a Tier I sex offender, which means he must register with the county sheriff every year for 15 years.

Brae A. Cook, 20, of Findlay, was sentenced by Niemeyer on Thursday to the Western Ohio Regional Treatment and Habilitation Center in Lima for violating his probation on a forgery charge.
