NWC Football: Ada's offense at its best again in 33-6 victory
ADA -- The Ada offense rolled up 447 total yards and the Bulldogs cruised to their 15th straight Northwest Conference win, beating Delphos Jefferson 33-6 Friday night.

The win, which was Ada's 17th straight at home, keeps the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 9-0 overall and 7-0 in the NWC.

Ada will match up with Lima Central Catholic, which is also undefeated in the conference, next Saturday in Lima for the conference title.

Heath Jackson had another big night as he contributed to four of the Bulldogs' touchdowns.

Jackson connected with Konnor Baker on a 20-yard pass in the first quarter to spark the scoring.

Delphos Jefferson (5-4, 4-3 NWC) answered as Mitchell Antalis raced in from 30 yards out, cutting the lead to 7-6.

From there it was all Ada as Jackson connected with Alex Weber on an 11-yard touchdown.

Jackson then hit Baker again on a 99-yard bomb extending the lead to 20-6 at the half.

Jackson added a two-yard touchdown plunge and Tyler Simmons surged in from nine yards away to cap off the win.

CONVOY CRESTVIEW 6

CONVOY -- Rayce Risser recorded 24 rushes for 146 yards and three touchdowns to help Columbus Grove to a 27-6 victory over Convoy Crestview Friday in a Northwest Conference football game.

Risser scored on carries of five, two and two yards for the Bulldogs (6-3, 5-2 NWC). Jacob Miller had a 16-yard run for a score.

Convoy Crestview's (3-6, 2-5 NWC) Cody Hagaman hooked up with Matt Holden for a 65-yard touchdown pass.

Miller had 16 carries for 84 yards for Columbus Grove and Jordan Travis completed 5-of-10 passes for 71 yards.

Columbus Grove netted 249 yards rushing with 71 through the air.

PAULDING 0

PAULDING -- Levi Gleason's two touchdowns were enough to get Bluffton a 12-0 Northwest Conference victory Friday over Paulding.

Bluffton's (4-5, 3-4 NWC) first score came in the first quarter when Gleason ran it in from two yards out.

With five minutes remaining in the first half, Gleason connected with Matt Lee for a 32-yard touchdown pass. Gleason finished 4-of-8 passing for 51 yards.

Jesse Gudakunst had 85 rushing yards for Bluffton while Tyler Rayl piled up 79 yards.

Defensively, Bluffton's Drew Luginbuhl had two interceptions to help get the Pirates gain the shutout.
