Lima-Putnam Wrestling Club

OTTAWA -- There will be a meeting of the Lima-Putnam Wrestling Club at 7 p.m. Monday at the Schnipke Inn on Main Street in Ottawa. The meeting, for both students and parents, is open to all students in grades 1-8 who are not currently involved in a school wrestling program. Cost and practice time will be discussed. UF Baseball Prospect Camp

The University of Findlay baseball program team will be conducting an Instructional Prospect Camp Dec. 27 for high school players. Players will be given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of the UF coaching staff and at the same time better their baseball knowledge. Pitching, catching, fielding and hitting in addition, to running speed and arm strength will be evaluated. Each participant will receive an evaluation following the camp. The camp will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with lunch provided. The cost is $60 in advance or $75 the day of the event. For more information, contact Coach Berry at or Coach Antonides at .
