Vanlue's Cook piles up 163 yards and two TDs
VANLUE -- Austin Cook ran for 163 yards on 14 carries and Vanlue crushed Ridgemont 34-12 Friday night in a non-conference season opener.

Cook scampered in from nine yards out to start the scoring and cruised to a 53-yard score giving the Wildcats a 14-0 second-quarter lead.

Dillon Kliesch accounted for the next three Wildcats' scores.

He lofted a 15-yard pass to Jonathan Kloepfer and rambled in from seven yards away to give Vanlue a commanding 28-0 halftime lead.

Kliesch ended the scoring when he fell on a fumble in the end zone in the third quarter.
