Ben Roethlisberger Basketball Benefit

Tickets for the Ben Roethlisberger benefit basketball game to be played at 7 on Saturday, April 5 are on sale in the FHS Athletic Secretary's Office. Tickets will be sold from 1-4 and cost $5. At least one other member of the Pittsburgh Steelers is expected to join Roethlisberger, Mark Ritzler, Jim Steffen, Jim Givens, Jason Lane and Chris Ireland on a team that will compete against a team seniors basketball players from Hancock County schools. Various items of memorabilia will also be raffled off throughout the evening.

UCOA Match Set

The UCOA on County Road 243 will be hosting an International Defensive Pistol Assoc. match Sunday. Registration to begin at 9 a.m. shooting to begin at 10. For questions, contact Bill Phillips at (419) 306-9391.

Van Buren Reverse Raffle

VAN BUREN -- The Van Buren Athletic Boosters will be holding a Reverse Raffle April 12 at the Amvets on Melrose Avenue in Findlay. Tickets are $50 each and include one meal and soft drinks or coffee. Limited meal tickets are also available for $15 each. A cash bar will be open all evening. Grand prize is $5,000 with an additional $4,000 in other prizes to be awarded. You do not need to be present to win. If you have any questions or would like to purchase a ticket, contact Cindi Grant, Treasurer at (419) 427-0901.

Findlay Future Tryouts

BLUFFTON -- A second tryout for the Findlay Future has been scheduled for Thursday from 8-9 at the Bluffton Family Recreation Center. Tryouts are open to girls in grades 5-8. For more information, contact Tony Trevino at (419) 408-0044.
