Two coaches who led their state-ranked teams to perfect league records and the players who helped make it all possible headline the Associated Press all-Northwest Ohio girls basketball selections released Thursday.

Fostoria St. Wendelin head coach Aaron Smith, who guided the Mohawks to a 20-0 regular- season record and a 10-0 run through the Midland Athletic League was Northwest Ohio's coach of the year in Division IV. Liberty-Benton's Nate Irwin, who led the 18-2 Eagles to a 9-0 showing in the Blanchard Valley Conference, earned the same honor in Division III.

Both coaches had first-team all-Northwest Ohio players leading their teams
